A year ago Harrington Generators (HGI) put their new Merlin diesel generator on the market. As 6kVA diesels go it was small, maneuverable and available in a variety of configurations.

Importantly for the hire market the set is available as 110 CTE as well as the usual duel voltage or 110 only. HGI made the machine to be easy to handle with drop down handles, pull bars and large diameter solid wheels.

The standard fuel tank is more than sufficient for normal day to day use but it was falling short in the Stand-By area. Customers needed to know that if and when the Merlin came in because of a mains failure then the fuel tank would run for a good day between refills.

HGI now offer the option of a 70 Litre metal fuel tank that provides enough fuel for at least 40 hours continuous running. Add to this the option of manual and automatic mains failure change over panels and HGI now have the ideal package for anyone needing stand by power.
