This Yanmar L100 powered set provides 180 Amp DC welding for mild steel, low hydrogen and cellulosic rods, running 4mm rods for mild steel, and 3.25 rods for low hydrogen applications. With a noise rating of 70d(b) @ 7 metres, the Spitfire 180 is the quietest diesel on the market, whilst featuring a brand new HGI designed canopy, foldable handles for maximising storage space, and an integral wheel kit.

The 180 now features 4kW of generator power from the 110 Volt, and the 240 Volt sockets, a great improvement from the previous model as there is now plenty of power to run a 9" grinder off either voltage.  Not content with simply offering 2 auxiliary power sockets, the 180 features a 32A 110 Volt socket, a 16A 110 Volt socket, and finally a 16A 240 Volt socket, offering fantastic versatility for on-site power jobs.

Struggling with an inaccessible canopy, servicing a nightmare? The 180 is a revelation, it features an oil drain extension tube accessible by a door in the canopy, simply put the tube through the base of the canopy and drain away, every service becomes a quick and clean process.
