Harrington Generators have long recognised the need for a relatively light weight and portable 10kVA generator set. The ubiquitous 6kVA diesel set seen on every site, is not always up to the job. The problem for Hire companies has been having the ability to provide ample power in an economic package.

10kVA diesels have tended to be significantly more expensive and significantly heavier.

HGI have built a NEW 10kVA set based around their well proven Silent Knight package. Simplyfying panels and using cost effective, but robust components, HGI have driven the cost down. Equally, they have paid attention to the bulk and weight. This set is supplied on two heavy duty large diameter wheels, to cope better with rough ground.  It is narrow, only 24 inches wide and will go through standard door openings. The weight is a respectable 350kgs.

It is powered by a water cooled FOCS diesel and the set comes with HGI's unique 1 and 2 year warranty. The generator will be on show at the SED on HGI's own stand. To encourage sales leading up to and during the SED show, HGI are offering special prices on the set.

This also applies to the Mains Failure version.  The Kite lends itself to domestic and light commercial stand-by use.  At 8kW output (230 volt) and with optional Manual and Automatic panels, the Kite is both practical and economic.
