Ranger, that's the name of HGI's latest mascot and is (was) a fully fledged racing greyhound. Unfortunately, he was losing punters more money than he should and he had to lose weight. Not doing things by half, he developed the big C and had to have a leg removed.

So now he is lighter but only good for the three legged race.

He's a brave dog that doesn't complain and we thought he makes a nice change to the usual news item.
