The compact SBG takes a lot of the features from its bigger brother and packages them into a canopy that can easily be manoeuvred through a standard doorway. The standard tank incorporated into the generator will give a running time of approx 85hrs but when the set is coupled to an external, bunded tank the autonomy can be extended to weeks rather than days. These external tanks are often a custom design, built to fit into a tight corner or awkward space. The compact SBG range utilises Lombardini FOCS1003 engines and Sincro SK160CA1 alternators to provide a proven and reliable package and DSE7320 or 5320 modules take care of the engine management duties. As with the larger SBG, the compact generator can be fitted with a variety of telemetry packages enabling the end user to monitor every aspect of the generator’s running parameters. The compact SBG is designed to be used in areas where planning issues can be a challenge and is the preferred solution for many customers who require power in the National Parks, Forestry Commission or other sensitive areas.
